Godspell intrigues favorable audience After practicing nearly two and a half months, the eleven-member cast of the musical Godspell was rewarded with performing for one of the largest crowds to attend an AHS performance. Eight hundred and sixty five people saw the performance directed by Mr. Jeffrey Falter, Mr. Mike Zimmerman and student director Ann Obermeyer. The musical Godspell is based upon the gospel according to Saint Matthew. The members of the cast included: LaRhea Barrett, Paul Crotty, Laurie Fritsch, Susi McConnell, Allison Oestmann, Steve Palmerton, Randy Rogge, Mark Sandau, Barb Wilson and Dwight Wininger. 1. LaRhea Barrett, Allison Oestmann, and Barb Wilson's idea of praising the Lord is shaking pompons. 2. We Beseech Thee, Hear Us, is the chant of the chorus as Steve Palmerton, Dwight Wininger and Mark Sandau join in. 3. The Godspell cast includes, Paul Crotty, Susi McConnell, Mark Sandau, Barb Wilson, Randy Rogge, Steve Palmerton, LaRhea Barrett, Jeff Wilson, Laurie Fritsch and Dwight Wininger. 1. Reigning king and queen, Steve Cole and Cindy Bergmann dance the traditional court dance. 2. Homecoming 1976's dance was a success with the music provided by Savage Eye. 3. This year's homecoming court included: Gary Loew, Kathy Moore, Russ Blex, Diane McVay, Cindy Bergmann, Steve Cole, LaRhea Barrett, Mark Lessor, Dee Slater, and Dave Allen. 4. Queen candidate LaRhea Barrett is presented during halftime of the homecoming game. 5. Dee Slater and Linda Gibbs decorate the senior hall. 6. Unvailing the inches of spirit , which was won by sophomores, are Vicki Brungardt, Tami Andrew, Lori Zech, and Doreen Heidzig. 25

Delapidated home Set for spring play A plow, tumble weed, and junk adorned the stage of George Washington Slept Here , the high school's spring play. The spring play was performed April 21st at the middle school auditorium. George Kauffman and Moss Hart wrote this comedy which tells of a couple who bought a delapidated home that George Washington supposedly had slept in. After repairing and redecorating it, they later find that Benedict Arnold actually slept there. They almost lose their home in a foreclosure, but alas, the play has a happy end. Members of the cast: LaRhea Barrett, Barie Brettmann, Paul Crotty, Janie Kampe, Lori Kimball, Kent Krueger, Andrea Leslie, Shelley McAdams, Deanna Nichols, Allison Oestmann, Russ Pasco, Randy Rogge, Tish Root, Mark Sandau, Dale Thomas, Jeff Wilson, Dwight Wininger. 1. Cast and crew members join in the fun as Paul Crotty autographs the set. 2. Marty Jansky listens carefully so as not to miss his cues for sound effects. 3. Excited at the possibility of saving their house are Mark Sandau, Allison Oestmann, Jeff Wilson, and LaRhea Barrett. 27
