LB 503, a new Law in Nebraska Legislative bill 503, passed in Nebraska's unicameral in 1976, reached Auburn high school in the spring of 1977. The bill provided the conditions under which a student may be excluded from attending a public school. At Auburn high the new rules and regulations were essentially the same as the former, but the law required that the rules be put in writing and made available to all students, parents and guardians.

Faculty The AHS faculty and administrators were the accomplices to missions that were executed during the year. With their assistance, students were able to discover the clues to fulfilling their missions. Teachers guided students toward proficiency in various skills necessary to succeed in college, the business world, homemaking and life.
