vocational trades still changing in ’76 In the past all homemaking skills and trades were learned at home, at an early age. Now schools are offering them instead. This year we had four vocational trades teachers and numerous courses available. Teachers were Mr. Dale Bradley, Mr. Larry Petersen. Mrs. Norma Loew, and Mrs. Mary Jane Williams. Courses include General Metals, Vocational Building, Mechanical Drawing, Electronics, Machine Woods, Advanced Woods, Vocational Carpentry, Drafting, Home Economics I, Home Economics II, and Home Economics IV. This revolution is still taking place. Boys may now enter home economics classes and girls may enter shop classes. 28
