'homecoming spirit' captured by seniors Spirit ran high during homecoming week. The seniors received a spirit helmet for buying the most inches of spirit from the cheerleaders. For the Dr. Suess theme, the pep club held stomp on Viking day , when students wore all kinds of boots; cat in the hat day , when crazy hats were worn, and a car bash was held by the A-club. Although the spirit carried the Bulldogs through the week, they couldn't outscore the Vikings. The Bulldogs concluded the game with a tight 7-6 loss. Denis Lessor and Karen Aufenkamp were crowned king and queen of the homecoming festivities. Mud Creek provided the entertainment at the homecoming dance.
