white coats support pep and enthusiasm The pep club sponsors' responsibilities were relieved somewhat because of outstanding leadership of the pep club officers this year. At meetings, which were conducted by the officers, the pep club voted to repeat the successful cake raffles between games to supplement the homecoming treasury. Many football, basketball, and wrestling pins were awarded to members who attended the required amount of games. Harass them, harass them, make them relinquish the ball. Procrastinate, procrastinate, run down the clock! Such chants were shouted by a group of band members known as the white coats who added extra yelling support to the already spirited club. 1974-75 pep club members: D. Biere, pres.; P. 'homecoming spirit' captured by seniors Spirit ran high during homecoming week. The seniors received a spirit helmet for buying the most inches of spirit from the cheerleaders. For the Dr. Suess theme, the pep club held stomp on Viking day , when students wore all kinds of boots; cat in the hat day , when crazy hats were worn, and a car bash was held by the A-club. Although the spirit carried the Bulldogs through the week, they couldn't outscore the Vikings. The Bulldogs concluded the game with a tight 7-6 loss. Denis Lessor and Karen Aufenkamp were crowned king and queen of the homecoming festivities. Mud Creek provided the entertainment at the homecoming dance.
