time for meetings added to schedule Will someone move? When is that meeting? A group of AHS students were huddled in the upper commons area around the new bulletin board which told of home room meetings, events during the month, senior announcements, the daily bulletin and a proverb for the week by Mr. Gerdes. This happened daily because AHS added a home room to its already busy schedule for the 74-75 school year. Pep rallies, and club meetings were just a few of the many activities held during this twenty minute period. Mr. Patras assists Cynthia Koppelmann in making her geography map. 11

Mr. Ramp previously taught in the Auburn School system two years at the middle school, as well as the high school stage band. Mr. Zimmerman graduated from Dana College in 1974. The two instructors worked jointly in the 1974-75 school year preparing for concerts and the district music contest. One of the main joint projects was a concert which featured a medley of songs called the Saga of Western America. The students, digressing from the tradition of wearing robes, dressed in costumes appropriate to the era depicted by the concert. Saloon girls, cowboys, and school marms were among the types of people portrayed. This change in custom was a refreshing experience for both the choir members and the audience. 13
