PEP CLUB VOTES TO REORGANIZE During the 1971-1972 school year the Auburn High School Pep Club's greatest responsibility was to sponsor Homecoming. These activities included the election of a King and Queen and Court; decorating the halls of AHS, the store windows down town, and the armory where the dance was held; and conducting a pep rally after school. Reorganization was discussed later in the year, and a decision was reached to modify the pep club by allowing boys to be members, by relaxing and eliminating some rules and regulations, and generally changing the structure of the club. It was also decided to change the name to Booster Club A new system was initiated for the election of yell leaders also, and it was decided to allow boy yell leaders to try out if they wished. Some members had obligations to Band and the Jr. Class. 18
