Social activities included the annual Christmas caroling, and in January, a sled-riding party was held. The Mother-Daughter Banquet ushered in the installation of new members for the coming year and the awarding of degrees. Mrs. Allen was the guest speaker and her topic was Women't Liberation. Earning FHA degrees were Gloria Obermeyer, Chris Berger, and Peggy Williams. Not pictured Nancy Kennedy. The Future Homemakers of America started off the year with a swimming party, as a way of getting acquainted with prospective members. In September, 19 members attended the District F.H.A. Convention at Bennett. Later in the month a Family Night was held at the Methodist Church, with Rev. Zimmerman as guest speaker. New members were initiated at this time.
