SENIORS SENIORS: John Allen, Guard; Ron Majors, Guard; Lee Gerdes, Center; Dennis Banks, Guard. The Auburn High School Bulldogs completed the season with a record of 7 wins and 8 losses and a 1-1 record in the District Tournament. Ron Majors and Lee Gerdes were chosen for the All Southeast Border Conference team and the Southeast Conference team. Wylie Gerdes was chosen for the Southeast Conference team. Ron Majors was the leading scorer with 17 points a game and won the Rotary Club Free Throw Award with a 69. 7 percentage. Ron Majors and Lee Gerdes were co-captains for the year.
