Solving the innumerable problems of operating a 3Bl50,000 a year business takes extensive planning and competent staff members. Approving the budget, translating the school policies, and hiring the superintendent and faculty members are some of their other responsibilities. The Board of Education is composed of six members: Frederick L. Allen, Cpresidentl farmer, Lowell E.. Hahn, law- yer, Frederic C. Kiechel, county attorney, Chester A. May, morticiang Fred A. Rothert, merchant, and John White, mer- chant. Students of Auburn high school are able to major in aca- demic fields of English, social studies, science, and mathe- matics.
