Taking a big step through the halls of AHS with the Auburn BULLDOG, 86 sophomores gladly left their previous station at Auburn to the incoming frosh and moved a step higher. Gradually they became more interested in AHS life and began to play a bigger part in sports, music, and other important activities and events. They also learned to buckle down and study harder on the ever-present academic subjects. On April 7, the sophs presented Easter Parade as their annual convocation, under the advisorship of Mr. Kenneth Hutton. Sophomores chose as their class officers Allan Moody, president, Dale White, vice-presidentg and Glenn Bantz, secretary-treasurer. Honor roll students were: Francis Harris, Sharon Harvey, Arvin Michel, and Allan Moody.
