' Girls' Club Through the Girls' Club, to which all girls in Auburn High School automatically belong, the feeling of friendliness, helpfulness, and high standards of living are developed and encour- aged. Once a month meetings are held and pro- grams presented. ln September, everyone met and became ac- quainted with the sophomore girls in a Big and Little Sister Tea. Every iunior and senior girl was given a Soph to look after, and help over the hard spots. The Girls' Club Cabinet presented its annual play, this year entitled, Sofapillio. It was a great success at both the Enumclaw Conference and the December meeting. As climax to their activities, the girls enter- tained their mothers with a Mother and Daugh- ter banquet on the night of May 7, 1959. They saw the impressive installation ceremony of the club's 1959-'60 officers who were officially giv- en their positions. The Girls' Club, with Mrs. Billie Fitch as ad- viser, has had a very successful year. 0 THIS PAGE IS SPONSORED BY WEESE JEWELRY 202 EAST MAIN STREET- AUBURN, WASHINGTON TEmple 3 3800 ll
