(But perhaps one member owes a little more than the rest.) As a member, loyal to her class, she has been A-l. WARREN McNABB When I am dead let fire destroy the world; It matters not to me, for I am safe. A. H. S. 1-2-3-4. Glee Club, 2. Quar- tette, 3-4. Advertising Manager Follies. Nabby has been practicing penman- ship this year, but he is doing it in a prac- tical way — writing love notes. But in a closing line it can well be said that he deserves some praise for the way in which he has filled his place on the Follies staff. VERA WALTER Gene has no heart, they say, but I deny it; He has a heart, and gets his speeches by it. A. H. S. 1-2-3-4 Basketball, 4. Glee Club. Follies Staff. Vera ' s voice has gained her much popu- larity. It has even attracted one life-long friend.

Wes has made his greatest accomplish- ment in basketball. He has been on the team for two years, and if it had not been for him, some of those cherished scalps would be missing. ALICE BALLARD Begone, dull care! I prithee begone from me! Begone, dull care! Thou and I shall never agree. A. H. S. 3-4 Basketball. Glee Club. Here ' s the funny girl. She can make one laugh, even though the day be dark and dreary. Alice proved her best in bas- ketball as guard. In many a game Alice saved the day.
