M Elise Daniel spends a quiet moment. ▼ With so much discussion, Tom Allen, sponsor, has a hard time choosing who is first. AYA—Adventist Youth in Action. The name really explains the purpose of the club. The main goal of the group is to share Christ’s love through their own personal lives. The group often gives skits, Sabbath school programs, visits in nursing homes, other churches, and give a lot of assistance to the Sunset Lake activities. The AYA generates an active prayer chain. Whenever they get a request, it passes through the links very quickly. Certainly, no one can deny the power of prayer! A. Pastor Nelson joins in on the discussion. M Working out the details . . . Week-of-Prayer has come and gone, but not without leaving behind an important message and an even more important impres¬ sion on the students. The talks went well until Tuesday morning when Shelly Nyseth was interrupted by the fire alarm. The ceiling in the chapel had caught fire when some wires shorted out. Friday night, Andrew McPherson gave an excellent talk followed by an alter call. More than 99 % of the people present went forward to give their lives to Jesus or to just recommit themselves. A.
