ELDER L. E. McCLAIN, PRINCIPAL PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE Dear Students: Another school year comes to a close. This Rainier Vista will keep alive in your memories the happenings of the year. It will recall memories of happiness, friend¬ ship, achievement, success, and failure. It is my desire that you may not only re¬ remember these lessons of Christian liv- but may you long remember the spiritual lessons your teachers have endeavored to teach you. My hope is that you not only remember these lessons of Christian liv¬ ing, but that you apply them to your daily life. No absence goes unrecorded or store charge unnoticed. When prob¬ lems arise with grades or finances these men are always ready to give needed counsel and assistance. MISS DORIS ROBERTSON, Dean of Girls MRS. HELEN SIMMONS, Assistant Sharing the joys and sorrows, success and failures, of 130 girls is the work of the South Hall deans. Reward for the long hours spent comes in seeing the girls build characters that will stand in the mighty conflict of life. MR. RON BARROW, Dean of Gibson MR. NORMAN WOODS, Dean of Manous With these deans rests the responsibility of developing attributes which produce the traits of noble manhood. By combin¬ ing a sense of moral values, fair play and humor, their work is a strong influence in each boy ' s life. 13
