. ‘Dedication ELDER THEODORE CARCICH With much gratitude and admiration we dedicate RAINIER VISTA to one who truly is a devout Christian, one who sheds a godly atmosphere to those in his presence, and one who brings words of encouragement and cheer to others in time of need. To one who has toiled endlessly in helping to rebuild our shop at Auburn Academy, and care for our comfort and happiness—to you Elder Carcich, in appreciation for your unselfish, priceless gifts to us, we dedicate RAINIER VISTA of 1952. FACULTY MEETING True education “is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers. It prepares the student for the joys of service in this world, and for the higher joy of wider service in the world to come.’’ The above statement from the book Education presents the type of education that Auburn Academy has attempted to give to her sons and daughters for more than thirty years; and today when standards of the world are being lowered and well established institutions of society are crumbling, your school still beckons to the youth who desire to prepare for service in this earth and to build characters worthy to be admitted into the world to come. — R.
