Changing Times And A New Look The POST staff chose as its theme for the 1984 yearbook the idea of Changing Times. There are many changes in this year’s book and we hope that you enjoy the new look. A new publishing company, Josten’s American Yearbook, helped the staff. Another change is placing the ads on various pages throughout the book rather than only in the back. This gives our advertisers more visibility and makes it possible to offer a greater number of pictures. We appreciate the financial support of our advertisers and patrons and encourage everyone who reads this book to look at the ads and patronize those businesses. The format on most pages was designed to add balance and make the yearbook more enjoyable to read and look at. While our theme is mainly artistic. Changing Times describes well the world in which we live as well as the day to day lives of high school students. We hope you enjoy the 1984 POST. From the yearbook staff. F.ditors Terry Jones. Changing Times: New Faces School started again on Aug. 29 and many new faces greeted returning students. Mr. Jim Morgan was the new principal for the high school and quickly became a favorite with his friendly smile. Freshmen and several new students had to find their way around the building and learn everyone’s names. Several new teachers also had to adapt to the way things run at AHHS. The AFS greeted foreign exchange student from Ecuador, Patty Artos. It seemed like a different school without the Class of 1983 around, but the new Seniors assumed their role of leadership.
