The varsity team ended the season with second place in the conference and a 9-5 conference record. Overall season record for the Rajahs was 17-7. They won the Holiday Tournament at Areola by beating Kansas (65-60) and Newman (76-68). In the LOVC Tournament they beat Newman (74-59), lost to Cerro Gordo (52-75). and defeated Bement (56-49), to receive third place. Cerro Gordo won Argenta Regional, Tuscola Sectional, Decatur Super Sectional, and lost 77-72 to Lawrence-ville in double overtime in Elite 8 at Champaign. Lawrenceville beat Ot-tawa-Marquette 54-53 to become Class A champions.
