Concerts and Track Bring Spring to A-H Both girls and boys track started with the coming of spring. Band and chorus held their annual unit concert on April 29. In the above picture, Mr. Perkins is shown tearing out the old sidewalks before the new ones were poured.

 Six seniors and one junior presented “Blithe Spirit” in April, this year’s only play. Boys joined FHA this year; the annual May Banquet was called the Parent-Student Banquet. A skit, “Eight Days of GAA, was given at the Mother-Daughter Banquet in May; also the president and other officers were installed. Favorite curricular” and “extracurricular” activities included talking in algebra class; togetherness at noon; concentrating on the fashion show deadline; and silence in class. B59PV

Theme of the Home Ec Tea and Fashion Show on May 10 was Butterflies of Spring. Models were Sandra Corman, Jame Emberton and Rhonda Gillmore; and Jon Dyer. Cindy Hale and Mike Harvey were among those attending the Prom on April 26. The Variety Show was May 10: Janet Lewis portrayed Edith Ann; Mike and Mark Murphy and Waltham Smith provided guitar music. Chuck Urban attempted to steal second during a May baseball game. Happiness is school letting out as is shown in the smiley face below. Graduates took the final walk on May 31 to finish high school.
