Grade Nine Grade Six Grade Eight Grade I'ne hrade Sesen hr ide Pour Time does march on' Here we find ourselxes rn the mrdst of another school year xes another year at dear old Brrmfield High In September we bade Farewell to all summer pleasures and greeted the coming xear with great anticipation for the future We once more entered the portals of learning determined to make this one of the best xears xet experienced Once more rnslde the doors we were caught up rn the mad whirl of actrxrtres and classes In the hope of proxrdrng as dw ersrfied a currrcu lum as possible our principal has introduced new courses A Spanish class and home economics classes for the sex enth and eighth grades haxe been added to the curriculum It rs hoped that these auditions will more adequatelx meet the xarrous reeds of the students Indeed Brrmfield rs xerx fortunate to haxe an actrxe and enthusiastic P T A organization This xear the group sponsored projects wherebx thex were able to furnish the school with needed equip ment Especrallx appreciated bx the home econom rcs department was the purchase of sexeral sew ing machines Because of the increased enrollment at Brrmfield School crowded condition rt w as suggested that the tax mrll len be increased The citizens of this communrtx rose admrrablx to the occasion and xoted that the mrll len be increased As a result four new rooms are to be added to the present building Plans for the erection of these rooms are now rn progress sexeral new features haxe been added to the 11 actrxrtres here Among them we find the rntroduc tren and publication ef The Bee the school news paper This has been greatlx welcomed by all There has also been the organization of a dra matics club to grxe the students an opportunity to participate rn dramatrcs A large percentage of the ooxs participated in the well rounded sports program and made a cred rtable showrng Football basketball baseball and track recerxed the greatest emphasis The xarrous classes and organizations lent their talents and abilities to presenting assembly pro grams which turned out remarkablx well The students showed a wonderful sprrrt of cooperation and great abrlrtx rn planning and presenting the assemblx programs consisted of the trx outs for cheer leaders and the selectron of them When we entered school rn the fall we drscox ered that the classrooms had been renoxated and that the cafeter a had been enlarged to accommo date the students more adequatelx Of course now we are looking forward to all the spring actrxrtres Talk of parties prcnrcs and baseball games fills the arr And oh we simply cannot forget the commencement exercise the day when all exes will be focused on our graduates as they depart from Brrmticld School To our grad uates we wish a happx and successful future We hope that therr stax with us has been a happy and protitable one one that will furnish them many happx memories 1 .
