ENGLISH The English Department at Attleboro High School offers twenty-five different courses, and it services over XXX) students. Every student in the high school takes English for each of his or her four years in the school. The department offers four different phases of English in order to provide for different learning abilities within each grade level, and honors courses are availalbe for students in the Sophomore. Junior and Senior years. In addition, the department offers a variety of electives in fields such as. Verbal Skills. Oral communication. Television Production. An electronic technician applies electronics theory and testing procedures to layout, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify electronic equipment of many kinds. Students use electronic learning kits to construct circuits and write laboratory reports. Chassis are fabricated from sheet metal Printed wiring boards are produced by photographic and chemical etch methods. Each student will construct and test several basic electronic units. This program also introduces students to the testing and repair of microprocessors and microcomputers. Repair of electronic equipment within the school system provides necessary work experience.
