MR. WILLIAM WESTON We. the class of 1965. take pride and pleasure in dedicating our yearbook to a teacher who. in his two years at A.H.S.. has won the respect and admiration of all who have come in contact with him. Throuph his senior Enfrlish and his remedial reading courses, we have learned the power of writing, the joys of reading, and the importance of empathy and understand- ing in our relations with others. His classroom doors have always been open for any student seeking knowledge, friendship, or advice. We thank him for having helped make us more mature, more responsible young adults. As a token of our apjjrecialion for all you have done for us. we dedicate our yearbook to you, Mr. William Weston, whom we shall always remember as a truly great educator.

FOREWORD A yearbook is a memory book. It enables us to look back over our years at Attleboro High, and })rings to mind fond memories of the friendships, challenges, and experiences of those times. In the future, when we think of the class of ' 65, another familiar memory will come to mind— the New York World ' s Fair of 1964-1965. For this reason, we have chosen the World ' s Fair as the theme of this yearbook. But, beyond this, the years spent in high school bear a certain resemblance to a fair. The people, activities, sports, music, and fun that make high school what it is are equally necessary to the making of a good fair. We, the editors of the 1965 yearbook, invite you to join us in reviewing our three years at Attleboro High throughout the following pages— COME TO THE FAIR! 1 In keeping with the theme of this yearbook, the class of ' 65 has adopted the slogan of the World ' s Fair as its motto: PEACE THROUGH UNDERSTANDING
