The Student Council has undergone a radical change this year. Instead of having each homeroom represented by separate elections, each class as a whole elects a smaller number of classmates as representatives and alternates: seniors —seven and three respectively, juniors—five and two respectively, and sophomores—three and one respectively. The Trade School elects one representative from each class plus one alternate. Under this new system, much more business can be attended to with a minimum amount of the confusion which had resulted from a larger group. It is the purpose of the Student Council to express students’ views on problems which affect the school. Through the Council the students have a part in the administration of the school. The Council also calls attention to various problems faced by the students. OFFICERS: Pres., R. Ryder V.-Pres., D. Pistolese Sec., S. Johnson Treas., T.
