Dedication Some People Strengthen The Society Just By Being The Type Of People They Are. J. W. Gardner Dedicated, committed, and understanding are words that describe these two people . Due to the varied interests of our class, these two teachers have had the most impact on our class. The Class of 1975 proudly dedicates the year's TORCH to Mr. James Allegretto and Mrs. Janis Hempel. Many of us first came to know Mr. Allegretto when he was our health teacher. This man is very actively involved in school sports as a coach for the football and wrestling teams. He is eager, enthusiastic, and works toward perfection in all attempts. He has contributed a great deal to our athletic program, both in physical education classes and extra-curricular activities. Mrs. Janis Hempel has given a great deal of herself during the five years she has been at our school. She is creative, hard working, quick-witted, understanding, and socially aware. She has given a great deal of her time and energy in establishing our mini-courses and is an integral part of the English department. A Man's Reach Should Exceed His Grasp. R. Forword The purpose of every yearbook is memories - keeping them alive. Spending hour after hour in class; attending the never-too-often assemblies; sitting in the bleachers and yelling, win or lose; talking, really talking, to a teacher; and making your locker a place of your own.
