Jwz In their freshman year, the junior class with Carl Fugle as president, had a bake sale, a benefit movie , and a square dance. When they were sophomores, under president Barbara Seligman, they had another square dance and had a very successful Sadie I-Iawkin's style round dance. Great excitement attended the choice of the class rings which were ordered in the early fall, and the class was wearing them proudly in December. This year, with John West as president, the class sponsored two successful square dances and the Junior Prom. They put on a wonderful Junior Play which was directed by Miss Dillienzo and Mr. Zavitz. Since the faculty has long felt movie benefits, bake sales and other selling campaigns too great a burden on the community, they must be discontinued. Instead, the class is raising money for its Senior trip by a rigorous dues system.
