It is legally responsible for carrying out state regulations. 'Ihe school board this year has several new mem- bers who must help cope with the problem of steadily increasing school population. They are preparing a school expansion plan to present to the voters of the district. Mr. Robert C. George, new clerk of the school board, is not only the official custodian of the tax roll, school records, and minutes of board meetings, but also is responsible for purchasing all of the supplies used in the school. 6
