HEME V. Nl Among the many extra-curricular activities in this school, we find the game of basketball most popular. Although merely a game to give exercise, excitement, and relaxation, it has made its way to become the main event in our life outside of the classroom. This game gathers in the interest of the grades, Junior High School students, High School students, and even members of the faculty. Basket- ball was taught to us as graders and from here the game affected each of us like a magnet, always drawing us back to our sacred gymnasium to seek the chance to play more of this contest. To verify this, one has only to get the opinion of our physical.educat1on teachers. During our physical education classes, the students from the fourth grade up get their chance to stretch their growing muscles and bones. In the noon hour, moat of our students compete in some way in intramurals. In our basketball intramurals, the grades occupy part of their noon hour, while the rest of the Junior High and High School students play in the Junior High School League and the Rural League. Besides physical education and noon hour contests, we have the Junior Varsity and Varsity teams which represent Attica in interscholastic meets throughout Wyoming and sur- rounding.count1es. The.Vars1ty squad has built up a highly respected reputation b winning the.lyom1ng Gou ty League Championship in the years including l9i1 - 1951. This year, we lost the championship to Perry, when they defeated us in the last 37 to 36, after we had led for 31 In the wanlng, moments or our should direct our theme along the victory and defeat, to BASKETBALL ten seconds of our game with them minutes and 50 seconds.N school life, it is proper that we lines of our happiest endeavor through we proudly present our '52 TORCH featuring: HEAD coacn sconmmrsn .. vsnsrnr .., Je V0.8 Oeeeee STAR PLAYERS ...
