CLASS OF President ....... Eugene Searle Vice President . . .Betty Calkins Secretary .. ..... Barbara Biehl Treasurer ..... lllarge Pasnewski Girl Representative ........... ...... . . . . . . .Joanne Shreder Boy Representative..Louis Smith Front rofw: Searle, B. Calkins, Biehl, Pasnewski. Second row: Shreder, Smith. As shy Freshmen, our class started its first year in high school under the excellent supervision of Bliss Saddler, Bliss French and Mr. Gilbert. VVe elected a fine staff of officers and set out immedi- ately to make our first year in the higher grades one to be remembered by all. Our biggest event that year was our Freshman party which went over as a great success and climaxed an eventful year, en- joyed by all. VVe began our Sophomore year with an added zest inspired by our accomplishments in our Fresh- man year. VVe held two dances during the year and our pains were rewarded with success in both cases. lVIusic for these dances was furnished by the Wyoming VVoodchoppers and Don Youngs orchestras and a good time was had by all on both occasions. Many of the boys as well as the girls took part inthe extra-curricular activities around school dur- ing the year. One the whole, a representative of the Sophomore class upheld our reputation as an active class in almost every event that took place this term. With Louis Smith leading the way for our Sophomore year and under the capable supervision of Miss Kennedy and Miss McCarthy, we began and completed an eventful year. With two successful years behind us and a good reputation to uphold. we began our third and most important year in high school so far. VVe elected Eugene Searle to head our officers and lllr. Crandall was selected to supervise our actions during the year. VVe held two dances, both of which were great successes, and had another scheduled, but this had to be postponed on account of bad weather. Our junior Play went over very well also. Under the able direction of Bliss llIcCarthy and with several of our class members participating, it was a great success. lVe've also had two bake sales and sold school pins, both of which netted us substantial products. We are now looking ahead to our Junior Prom and our Junior-Senior Banquet and we hope to leave them behind us, as successful as our former activities have been. This year as -luniors has proved to be our most successful one. VVe sincerely extend our thanks and appreciation to our advisor Mr. Crandall for his help in making this year an eventful and enjoy- able one for all. 24
