We started the year by electing the following class officers, President, Skippy Brown, Vice Presi- dent, Dennis Talbott, Secretary, Martha Bossaerg Treasurer, Lary Wilson. Our flower is the traditional American Beauty rose, and our colors are red and White. Our class motto is, Not Finished, Just Begun . On November 9, We enjoyed a class party at the Ravine Park. Later in the evening we enjoyed dancing in the Rec. Hall. A Spring Party was being planned for later in the year. On March 26 and 27 the Seniors presented their play entitled, Belle of the Westu. It consisted of two acts and four scenes. The play was under the direction of Mrs. Carol Myer. The Seniors are proud of the members from their class who participat- ed in the various extra-curricular activities during the year and who did such an excellent job. We would like to thank Mrs. Myer and Mr. Lambert, our sponsors, and all the other members of the faculty who helped us so much during the year. ,E NI OFFICERS Skippy Brown, President Dennis Talbott, Vice President Martha Bossaer, Secretary Lary Wilson, Treasurer ,'s avw Anno, Marilyn Juanita Attica 1-2-3-4: Home Er: 1-43 Commercial 2- 33 G.A A. 13 Chorus l- , fhrrst 1-23 Choral Festival 1- 23 Operetta 13 Yell Club 1- 2 - 33 Sunshine 23 Band 3-43 Senior Play 4. One of the outstanding nights of the year was the presentation of the Junior Play entitled, Bashful Bertie under the direction of Miss Uesseler. All existing records fell in the annual magazine sales campaign when the class members hit the streets with all the latest editions. The class was divided into four selling teamsg led by Tom Carney, Violet Kokenberg, Dick Kochell, and LaDonna Fretz. Don Peterson, class president, was general manager of the campaign. Class rings were selected in the fall and delivered to the students be- fore Christmas. The main event to which the Juniors are looking forward is the annual Prom. This year it will be held on Friday, May 7 at the Country Club. Without the able assistance of the staff, he could not have done his work. A point system was adapted this year by the club limiting membership to fifteen members. To remain in the club, the student must earn fourteen points fi month. The two students who receive the highest number of points during the year, become co-editors of the paper for the next school year. Miss Uesseler is the faculty advisor. laden!! Huawei! The Student Council is made up of two elected senators from each class, the president of each class, and the president of each school organization, who acts as a representative for his respective group. Its purpose is to promote student leadership, to encourage and initiate student viewpoints, to take charge of intramural sports, and to organize suitable convocation programs. Arrangements were made during the year by this organization for a Homecoming Football Game with a huge bonfire rally the night before, a parade of floats, and the crowning of a queen.
