Three on a Bench One-Act Contest Play John Damschroder, Joyce Nagel, Carl Weber, Judy Weber, Mrs. DeMott, director. This play takes place in a park in May. A young boy and girl have come to the park for a picnic. Harry, the boy, has stared at another girl. This has created a quarrel which has ended in no speaking. A widow, Mrs. Moore, a jolly old soul, sits with them trying to get them to make-up. She succeeds in getting them back together and on their way. Officer Callahan who has admired Mrs. Moore for a long time asks for herlhand in marriage. Mrs. Moore refuses because she thinks her place is here in the park helping young people to make-up.
