'N lass H1stor In the year 1941 42 bustltng botsterous boys and gtrls approached a btg burldtng They were told that they were gotng to spend the next 12 years there In the stx years followtng we gatned classmates and due to ctrcumstances beyond our control we lost some Our teachers for the lower grades were Mtss Whrtman Mrs Mtles Mrs Armttage Mtss Holm Mrs Wernle and Mrs Peck respectrvely Then came a new and thrtlltng expertence for us we graduated tnto Junior Htgh School We dts covered that we dtdn t have one teacher but many of them' Boy were we tn a dtther our homeroom teacher for that year was Mr John Bara the coach That year we elected offtcers We chose Betty Retchert to take the controls her asststants were Eddte Baker Janet Gurney and Sara Burger The next year we advanced to the 8th grade Our homeroom teachers were Mrs Donna Mtller and Mrs Nancy Carrtck We were more famtltar wtth the procedure now The leader that year was Ralph Kreffer wtth Eddte Baker as vtce prestdent Betty Gurney as secretary and Eugene Nagel as treasurer Then came the btg day we graduated to the freshman class' Man we were the wheels now!
