As the roots of our country and heritage lie deep in New England soil, even so the roots of our Faith. Who cares for the growth of New England so long os it can continue to give principles, and institutions, and men to the Notion? Who cores for the growth of New England if the entire N ation becomes New Englandized? These sentiments were expressed by a Colonial preacher, and the New Englandizationn process was accomplished not only through education, religious and political ideas and forms, but also through special literature and law. Wherever New Englanders Went they carried with them as part of their cultural baggage the beliefs and customs that became a part of our American cultural heritage. The MINUTEMAN presents historical New England. Let us ever be mindful of our duty in fulfilling the dreams of the Pioneers-not only those who founded this Nation, but also the Denomination as Well: estab- lishing a country Where one is free to worship in his own way, to disseminate his beliefs, and a duty to pre- pare for a life with Him.
