Opening the 1977 Stage Show was at performance of the theme song 'AI Believe In Music by the Concert Band and Choir. Pam Wilson was the Mistress of Ceremonies for the event held on May 3 and 5. The progrmn involved the Concert Band, Concert Choir, Stage Band, Swing Choir, Boys' Ensemble, Cirls' Sextette and Trio, as well as various instru- mental and vocal soloists. The selections were favorites, old and new. A highlight of the show was 'iLawrence Milk Plays Cuy Lombagof' a skit by the band. Mr. Meyer and Miss YVright spent many long hours with the band and choir members in preparation for the show. The program ended as it began with the band and choir version of I Believe ln Music.

Concert Choir had a new look for '76-'77 school year - black and gold choir robes. The choir exhibited their school spirit in performing at the dedi- cation ceremony for the new school sign. The year was busy with a special 'New Robes Con- Lintla Dimig, Tammy Teig, Lisa Sierp, Sheri Ilagen, Director Delma VVright. Choir members also enjoyed seeing a fine per- formance of South Pacific at the Des Moines Community Playhouse. The mixed Chorus was unique this year in that it boasted a mere three boys. The group put out 21 surprisingly healthy sound in spite of the shortage of male yoices. They performed in three concerts, Petersen.
