Homecoming Queen Sherry Nichols N Sarah Wohlenhaiis Sally Rodgers A Trip Through 'Trojan Country' Homecoming '75 activities began Thursday, September 25 with the decorating of homeroom doors. After school students designed doors to pro- mote school spirit and the theme 'Trojan Countryf On Friday at 2:30, each queen candidate was pre- sented to the student body at the queen's assembly. This assembly was followed by a pep assembly where homeroom 202 was rewarded a trophy for the most creative door. As the minutes closed in before the Atlantic- Lewis Central game, Sherry Nichols was crowned Homecoming Queen 1975 by Ioan Weresh, '74's queen. After a 50-0 victory the movie Gone in 60 Seconds was in the activity line-up. On Saturday evening The Shades of Dawn provided the music for the dance of- Homecoming '75, 1. David Kanning designs the ideal cheerleader for the homecoming dance decorations. 2. The queen of Troian Country, Sherry Nichols, reigns over her Homecoming court. 3. Senior home- room 202 decorated the winning Homecoming door. 4. Chris, Robyn, and Sarah sit before the student body, with the backing of their fathers. 5. The Homecoming Royalty start the Queen's Dance. I5

Students Hustle To Twirp and After-Game Candy, sundaes, and decorated lockers launched the Twirp week festivities. On Monday, March 1, girls were scheduled to carry their dates' books to classes, but bad weather caused cancellation of school and led this project to be dropped from the agenda. On Tuesday, school was resumed and girls were assigned to take their dates out for a sundae. Wednesday, many girls rushed to school to make sure they could stuff their dates' locker full of food, before the boys could arrive. On Thursday, girls were supposed to wear their dates' shirts and the boys were to Wear their girls' shirts, but once again school was cancelled because of bad weather. O11 Friday, girls again hurried to school to decorate their dates' car or locker. At 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, the dance was provided with music by Cookbook . The dance ended at 11:00 and Slurp Twirp came to a close. 1, p , ,,,, g!gg,g ,B 4 .
