'von' ' . , 10 b , ' 'UC' Y- N KN- ' President Delbert Thurman presides over a meeting. Future Occupation The FFA, as usual, was a very active club. Heading the club was senior Del- bert Thurman. Again this year the club sponsored Harvest Ball, attended the State and National Conventions, and participated in district and state contests. They also competed in the county fair, presented radio programs, and farmed the chapter crop plot. In October seven members, Delbert Thurman. Greg Zellmer, Duane Dreager, Dennis Phillips, James Knudsen, james Frisbie, and Rick Pellett, attended the National Convention in Kansas Citv, Missouri. During the year Bob Edwards lent a helping hand to the district organization as vice-president. The chapter had forty-five active members, of which four held the Iowa Farmer degree, thirty-five were Chapter Farm- ers, and ten were Greenhands. On one their many A year of many learning experiences and varied activities revolve around the FFA cabinet. The cabinet consists of: Rick Pellett, Greg gelllzaier, Bob Edwards, Vince Dolch, Duane Da-eager, and James u sen. trips, test corn from their chapter crop plot. A new member, Mark Dolch, receives his jacket from Delbert Thunnan and Vince Dolch.

The members of the club participated in various activi- ties. These included: selling apples at home football games, making toys for needy children, and studying different careers. They also held a party for their fathers and invited their mothers to their installation tea. Carol Bladt prepares for the annual style show. Responsible for planning and organizing the c1ub's many activities is the FHA cabinet. They are: Carol Burgm, Darla Hall, Loretta Kramer, and Diane Iameson. lvlembers Prepare For Leaming the art of arranging conversation pieces is Sheryl Knuth.
