The contest was sponsored by the Junior Chamber of Commerce, and the local winner, Sally Whiteman, received a 325 war bond. Despite the snow storm, there were more than 800 speech contests and coaches that attended. Box and Cox, a delightful comedy, was presented at the Drake Play Festival and received an Excel- lent Rating and was then presented again at our own Play Festival. TEEN TIME Every Saturday afternoon, whether we arc at home or out for a ride, the radio is tuned into Teen Time. Buck Brock and John Carl, the MC's of Teen Time , really keep the show going. Nearly every week there are guests taken from A. H. S. , this, along with humor and music, makes for a really great hour. T H E S P I A N S In order to be an Honor Thespian one must complete outstanding work in speech and dramatics. The Honor Thespians are Buck Brock, Janet Malone, Bill Jackson, Mary Maher, and John Carl.
