William Carson Moore 'R S' Q Bill is the brain of our class. If a question arises about homework, whether H' .t it be trig or history, the person to ask is Bill. If his explanations seem a 'T' wi g bit drawn out it's because Bill has done it the most efficient way. We all 1.1.54 'V expect him to be a big success in the field of science. Jimmy Lee Powell Jimmy is one of the leaders of our class. He was President in his Sopho- more and Junior years and Vice-President this year. Jimmy played end M5 as - on the football team and his famousuretreating end manuver was well known sh in g to all. He has a special interest in a certain brown eyes Junior girl. , , .. 7, A Q Football 3, Baseball manager, Yearbook 5 , ' 'Q ' , Mary Barbara Revell - A - Whenever any extra curicular work is to be done, Barbara is more than 'R' willing to do her part. Barb is well liked by her fellow classmates, as V well as the underclassmen. As editor of the yearbook, she published one of -.- M' X the best annuals in the history of Atlantic. We do hope Barbara will continue in her secretarial work as the business field will be very fortunate to have , ... her. yy . Basketball 2,3,4, Yearbook 1,3,4, FHA 1, Softball Mana er 4. y ' 5 . as in g Betty Joan Richardson wx -v. Although small in statue she is outstanding in athletics. She plays for- ward on the basketball team and her set shot is deadly. She plays center X field on the softball team. She had a minor role in the Junior class play. She is a cheer leader and one ofthe most popular girls in the Senior class. V- '32 She likes long moonlight hikes with her neighbors on Chincoteague. 31, . 0139 w X P --v- kk -uv- Woodrow Wilson Justice Pee Wee is a member of the FFA where Mr. Bunting is teaching him to become a better farmer and a carpenter. He likes to do wood work and his home workshop is very complete. His part of the sheriff last year was small but well acted. The acting mostly coming from his gun that almost didn't fire. He has to work much of the time he doesn't go to school and we are ex- pecting him to become an expert farmer or carpenter. FFA 2,3,4, Greenhouse Club. Sally Ann Kellam Our classes would be dull without Sally. She can always provide a laugh for everyone. Her wit and determination to do whatever she undertakes make her one of the leaders among the girls. She played a part in our play last year and did wonderfully in the play. Sal is one of our best players on the softball field. She has chosen nursing as her field of work after school, and we know the door of success is opened to her. Softball 2,3,4, Yearbook 3.4, FHA 1,4. xo of - V. Shirley Mae Martin 1 1 f.:Pf 'wk Shirley is one of the quiet but nice members of our class. She is a good student and likes physics especially. Her pleasing personality makes her one of the outstanding members of the class. She is always willing to do any amount of work for anyone. She has chosen nursing for her career and we are sure she will go for expecially when she starts sailing the blue with f. the Navy. FHA l,3,4, Yearbook 4, Basketball 2. f LQ- 'I 14595 if f S' . J, f, L K 'i'S if 1 fl 2 Richard Mason Mole belongs to the FFA and shop and is usually seen making something e ' 1 in the Agriculture building. His fish stories are well known and often heard. He loves a good time and when the word go is mentioned, Dickie I Q.. ta' is ready. 4 ji .9 FFA 6 Q

, . 4' Elton Richard Scott Skeet is one of the athletes of our class. His play at end this year kg., 6. and last on the football team was outstanding. The Eastern Shore News fur- ther honored him by naming him one of the best ends on the shore. His N. sticky fingered ability to make sensational catches is well known to all that sw-f have seen him play. He had a very good season at baseball last year, turning if in a good game every time he played. He is standout in the high jump. He played one of the leading roles in our class play last year and did very well. He is assistant editor of the yearbook. William Clinton Taylor A maroon plymouth slows slightly, then swerves into the school yard, skids around the circle, scattering nearby students, then screeches to a halt. Wild Bill emerges from the car, smiles at any good looking girls nearby, and strolls into school. Although not taking much interest in classes, he was rated by many as the best fullback on the shore. His 'piledriving power was respected by all, especially opponents. He was captain of our Championship football team, and his baseball game is excellent, also. The Don Juan of the class seems to be hooked b a certain oun lad at Mar Track 2,3,4, Baseball 2,3,4, Football l,2,3,4, Greenhouse Club. ,f . x lf-X 'T 1 Y Y 8 Y Y Washington College. 'sr Football l,2,3,4, Captain 3. Basketball 4, Baseball l,2,3,4 .3 1 an .- .-D! -0' , Woodrow Jackson Taylor Woody is one of the working members of our class, having to work on the farm besides school. His accident with his ancient Chevie was told to all, when he went swimming with it over at Saxis. FFA and Shop Bobby Sidney Wessells fl Bobby is one of the active members of the Greenhouse Club. He is a great touch football lover and his long bullet passes in games after lunch usually result in a touchdown if the receiver can catch. g FFA. Shop .X wx K . 'x
