During the hot summer days the beach is the main attraction for tourists in our town. Under the watchful eyes of the Atlantic City Beach Patrol the visitors bathe safely in the cool surf. Fishermen will return home with a big catch after a pleasant day aboard one of the local fishing boats. Besides fishing boats, sightseeing cruises leave the inlet every hour to give tourists a better view of our town from the sea. The favorite evening pastime is a stroll down the world-famous boardwalk which is like a city in itself. The Fourth of july fireworks present an inspiring scene to cele- brate our independence.

Receiving their Heralds causes much excitement among the seniors. Anxious for that first glance, they rush down to room 18. Gathering in the gym for the last time, the seniors sign each others yearbooks. Atlantic City is justifiably proud of both its School and Municipal Gov- ernments. Their mutual support and cooperation is evidenced by the gen- uine respect which each one displays for the problems and burdens of the other. This indeed, is working to- gether. I4 June is bustin' out all over. Everyone is scurry- ing around trying to catch a peek at the classnight playg while the actors and actresses are very hush, hush about it. As the end of the school year arrives, hard-working students find much satisfaction at the awards assembly, when they are recognized for their outstanding achievements.
