i, With the approach of April two impor- tant holidays occur - Easter and Passover. The annual Sunrise Service on Steel Pier marks the beginning of the Easter holiday for many peo- ple. Later in the day literally thousands of people stroll along the boardwalk enjoying the fair weather that good fortune usually brings. The receiving and sending of holiday cards makes a great deal of work for the employees of the United States Post Office. The people of the Jewish faith start the ob- servance of Passover by attending special services in their Temples.

Collecting for charity is one of the most outstanding jobs done by the local teenagers. Blocking the cafeteria door is one of the favorite methods used in school. Volun- tary or not, our school donates a large contribution to many worthy causes. The rooms are comfortably furnished to create a cheerful, homelike atmosphere. An excellent maintenance department keeps the hospital spotless. 1 One of the leading drives in the community is for the Atlantic City Hospital. With its modern facilities, its well- trained staff, and its public clinic the hospital serves us twenty- four hours a day.

It's time for a switch! Many of our mer- chants change places with high school students to give them the experience of being Boss For A Dayf, Returning to their normal school day we find gym classes busily en- gaged in activities on the beach. May time also has its difficulties as experienced by the varied expressions shown on the faces of students, preparing for College Board Examinations. A contagious disease commonly known as spring-fever' causes people to seek outdoor recreation such as golf.
