DEDICATION NCE there dwelt a man, flourishing and carefree, honored by all, and justly proud. But adversity came and his wealth was cut off. All sympathized lor he had been well liked. One, how- ever, a person of whom he had taken no particular notice, offered to show him where he could again replenish his stores. This good Samaritan not only advised but aided him so ably that his treasures were doubled. n He knew not how to repay this man. He could not offer him gold, for such was poor token of true friendship. FOREWGRD NLY a Class that was born of unexcelled pros- perity, raised on the spare diet of extended Depression, and matured with revived hopes of a finer and more worth- while world-seeing the vicissitudes of fortune-could have such a true estimation of material things, such spiritual understanding, and such moral stability. And some day, when the Great Scribe has inscrolled the deeds of ourselves and our classmates in the Ultimate Book, let us leaf through these pages again, and remember the carefree and joyful years spent together.
