PRESENTING. . . The Wall a On Saturday, November 7, the new entrance way to Atlantic Christian College was unveiled in a dedication ceremony. The new entrance consists of an attractive brick wall and garden and is located at Vance and Rountree Streets. Bricks used in the construction of the entr- ance way came from the remains of Caldwell Hall. The marble torch which stands atop the wall was hand-crafted in Greece. The torch symbolizes the college motto, “Thou Shall Have the Light of Life. The Class of 1936 prov- ided the funds for the construction of the new entrance. 5

AND NOW Bully’s On September 23, ACC cel- ebrated the grand opening of its new snack bar. Students, faculty, trustees, and friends gathered at Hamlin Student Center to witness the christening of Bully’s. During the evening, entertain- ment was provided by guitarist Mitch Bowen. Guests were trea- ted to food samples and “mock- tails.” Bully’s features a new stereo system, a video jukebox, a television, and a dance floor. One purpose of Bully’s is to give students a place on campus they can call their own. CHEERS!

AC Celebrates Opening of Its 86th Year The Wilson County Chamber of Com- merce sponsored Welcome Back ACC Day on August 25. Students gathered to celebrate the opening of ACC’s 86th ac- ademic year. Food, entertainment, and fun were provided as part of this annual picnic. ACC officially marked the opening of its 86th year at convocation on September 3. Dr. D. Duane Cummins, president of Higher Education of the Christian Church, was the speaker. Highlights of the con- vocation included the recognition of the trustees, four newly endowed under- graduate fellowships, and the Under- graduate Fellows. Up, up, and away!
