The Pine Knot of 1943 was dedicated to the boys who had gone out from Atlantic Chrisian College to fight for the principles of democracy. In this, our first yearbook since the conclusion of the war, we would again remember those young men. Many have returned from the service of their country to our campus; some, having given their lives, are missed from among us. To all of the men and women whose sacrifice and suffering and courageous integrity made possible our dream of a secure and just society, we dedicate the Pine Knot of 1947.
