eee eee EDITOR'S NOTE An annual is composed of long hours, hard work, sched- ules, deadlines, meetings, budgets . . . and dedication in those who have given so much time and effort. As | look back over the year, | have discovered that putting . together a yearbook is not the easiest job in the world. The Genesis Staff and myself have learned that it takes a great deal of time, effort, and patience; plus a great deal of coop- eration from everyone on campus to get the job done. ! would like to express a special thanks to the Genesis Staff, Mr. Bobby Olive, our advisor, and to Harold Gant who designed such a beautiful cover for the “1975-76 volume of Genesis. Also, thank you Dean Easley and Mr. New, without your cooperation and consideration we never would have made it. lt has been a great experience and a challenge, and | en- Joyed every minute of it. 207

Movin’ On It always happens this way! Just when you really get into something, you have to leave it! Progress is being made. At the end of every year, there is a ceremony, it is called graa- uation or commencement! Really, it should be called “movin’ on.” Many of us have finished here and intend to get jobs, what few are available, and “move on.” Others intend to pur- sue a higher degree in their particular field, another form of “movin on.” Still some don’t know for sure what they want, but they have to do something . . . a sure enough “movin’ on. How important it is to “move on?” Time has become so valuable, that it seems requisitioned to us like gas. Ahead are frustrating moments, happy moments, sad moments, re- Joicing moments, a utilization of time itself. In that utilization of time for frustration, for sadness, for rejoicing, let the two words of Atlanta Jr. College Yearbook 1975-76 ring loud and penetrating in your mind! Movin’ On! Seek peace graduates, seek understanding and be forever truthful in whatever choice of “movin' on,” you do, and re- member, it started right here. Peace, Love and Understanding
