C. It was incorporated February 12, 1903, under the Act of Congress establishing incorporation laws for the District of Columbia, a charter being granted to the founders of the parent chapter, Joseph H. Choate CAlphaJ Chap- ter of Nat-ional University Law School. Alexander Hamilton Stephens QChiJ Chapter was founded at the Atlanta Law School in 1927. The primary purpose of Sigma Nu Phi is to encourage excellence in scholastic work, to cultivate character of a sterling quality, and to uphold the standards of the legal profession and perpetuate the spirit of service in the professional world. The National Convention of Sigma Nu Phi will be held at the Atlanta Biltmore Hotel, April 30, and llay 1. Convention plans were formulated by the Alumni Chapter in co-operation with the Active Chapter. Under the leadership of Chancellor Chatty Sullivan, Sigma Nu Phi has had a banner year, and it is with a heavy heart that graduating members have to say adieu to the Active Chapter of 1936-37.
