Stuzlenr ,Juembly INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION this year replaced the traditional Inter-Society rivalry that has stimulated much interest in previous years. All contestants presented very con- structive arguments and points to uphold their particular side of the question. The enviable distinction of champion debater was awarded to Nlr. Schell of the Student Assembly, also of the Freshman Class. lNIr. Schell's ease of delivery, quick wit, and approach of the subject well qualified him as the Atlanta Law School's champion debater. Nlr. Allen of the Kilpatrick Literary Society won the honor of being judged the Atlanta Law School's second best debater. He is a member of the Kilpatrick Literary Society and is also a Freshman. Nlr. Allen very ably upheld his side of the question and presented a coherent argument for the affirmative. The Freshmen really went to town this year by winning both first and second award.
