1 JUNIORS JUNIOR CLASS OFFICERS Qleft to rightj: Ralph Antle, President Tony Phillips, Vice- President, Nancy Curtis, Secretary Diane Liesman, Treasurer Mr. Long, Sponsor Juniors Prepared To Fill The Senior's Shoes The most industrious class of all was usually the junior class. Hard at work to fete the seniors with a spectacular prom and banquet, the juniors peddled popcorn, candy, and soda pop at the ball games and during the noon hour. Although the junior's candy was usually stale, their party, Winter Wonderland, was as fresh as their popcorn, being one of the most successful all-school parties of the year. Confronted with the difficult and exciting task of selecting their class ring, the juniors finally chose the ring which read 1961 from both top and bottom. Even though the class rings arrived a monthtlate, they proved to delight many of the junior's steadies. , The class of '61 experienced their busiest year as they prepared to fill the senior's shoes. 28 W
