Lamp OF Learning PHILLIP MCCULLOUGH Mr. McCullough teaches Civics, American History, World History, American Government,and Economics. He has most students in at least one of his classes each year. Mr. McCullough helps to pre- pare the students for the future by equipping them with the knowledge essential to live in our demo- cratic society. Mr. McCullough is also sponsor of the Student Council and guides its many activities throughout the school year. He received his B. S. in Education from Illinois State Normal University. WILLIAM SEYMOUR Mr. Seymour as director of the school bands prepares students for school concerts as well as band contests. He is also busy giving individual assistance to students interested in instrumental music. He holds a B. S. in Education from Illinois State Normal University. DOREEN STRIEG EL Mrs. Striegel, who teaches English III and IV, directs the juniors and seniors on the path to better English usage and Af' literature appreciation. Beside her English classes, Mrs. Striegel spends a great deal of time working with the ATALA NTA Staff as the Yearbook 3 sponsor. She holds a B. S. in Education from Illinois State Normal University.
