You have given of yourself in everyway to a job that is often discouraging, yet challenging. Let this be our way of saying thanks for a job well done. We, the 1979 Harvester Staff, dedicate this yearbook to Miss Joy Dance, Dean of Women. Every year at Atlanta Christian College can be considered a small journey in itself and all the years a big adventure. Moving along the roads of life, many signs are passed that tell us where we are, where we are going and how much longer we have to get there. 1978-79 has been a journey of many changes, the signs of those changes are evident. In this journey, there has been a move toward achievement. envolvement and enrichment. This year could be called a year of movement. Atlanta Christian College has progressed and the people who are and have been a part of ACC have experienced a memorable journey in education and life. Above: The crowd at Sneak Day. The Student Council tried to bring some of the excitement and novelty of the 503 on the ACC campus, by having a 503 day. This event was well received the students. The 503 dress was well paraded at supper time. You name it, we had them: nice girls, bad girls, clean-cut guys, hoods and even ttnerds! At most colleges if a faculty member knows a student by name that's an accomplishment. Here. students and faculty spend many hours finding out about each other as people. Faculty members relate to students as a part of the family. The Coffee shop is the most popular place where students and faculty meet. Above: Mr. Wade shares a few moments with Frank Hogg. HOW WE MAKE IT THROUGH Making it through college is not easy these days. With the high rise in inflation, everybody is finding it a little harder to make ends meet. Many students have to pay part or all of their way through school and to do this means they have to work. The College provides many jobs for students who are on work-study or who are employed by the College alone. Top: Many jobs are provided by the cafeteria.
