We, the Senior Class of 1960, proudly present to you the HAR- VESTER. We invite you now to walk with us in memory through this past year at A.CC. This pictorial record has been prepared in the hope that it will reveal to you the spirit and ideals for which A.CC. stands. As we look back we can clearly remember the fall when faculty and students came together and faced another year of school, the long winter and spring of hard study under these faithful and consecrated men, and the good times enjoyed by all as we engaged in the various activities of this Christ centered campus. As this our last school year nears its close and summer, our sea- son of school memories, is at hand, we look back with mingled sorrow and joy. XWith sorrow we realize that we will soon be separated from faculty and fellow students whom we have come to love, admire, and respect; with joy we realize that having been here with them has made us better people, better prepared to face whatever lies ahead. C For your example of faithfulness in season, out of season, for your kindness, patience, and understanding as friend and counselor as well as teacher, we, the Senior Class, dedicate the 1960 Harvester to you, PROFESSOR SNOW. DEDICATION Student Mr. Snow, a native of North Carolina, was already suc- cessful in the business world when he decided to give his full time to the Lord's service. After graduating from A.C.C. he took graduate work at Oglethorpe University, Georgia State, Emory University, and Columbia Seminary. He began his teaching career at A.CC. in 1956. During the past four years his busy schedule has included, in addition to his teaching, preaching for a full time church and a heavy load of study in graduate school. His dedication to the Lord's work, especially that of pre- paring others to be more useful servants of His kingdom, has been an inspiration to us during our sojOum here and will continue to be for many years to come. We admire her courage and perseverance, noting that she is the only one of the girls who started with us as freshmen who was able to endure us and stay in school long enough to grad- uate. We are grateful to her for always being willing to do the unpleasant and worrisome little jobs in ,our class projects which we iibig preachers were always utoo busy to do. Especially are we grateful for her patient labors in that office which is the supreme test of patience, Editor of the Hat- vester. For these things and for her fine Chris- tian character, we have, unknown to her, dedicated this page of the 1960 Harvester to her, as SENIOR OF THE YEAR. :EZIZI: 26 Class Advisor DENVER SIZEMORE President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer- CLASS MIKE PORTWOOD DAVID BEAVERS SHIRLEY CHANDLER BETTY GRESHAM I DAVID BEAVERS Janesville, Illinois SHIRLEY CHANDLER Springfield, Illinois BETTY GRESHAM Springfield, Illinois MARVIN MILLS Brookings, South Dakota EDD PANNELL Tupelo, Mississippi CLINTON PARKE Richmond, Kentucky MICHAEL PORTWOOD Atlanta, Georgia LARRY WILSON Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina Not pictured: John Camp, David Minor, Howell Starr. 27 28 Class Advisor ROY W.
