CHARM E the fruit of our labors as we worked on different fields. We had been planting and sew- ing the seed in various fields of labor and now the work which was put forth by each one was being l'ex 'arded. We then looked forward to greater things and worked harder. One of the outstanding events which tO'ik place during our junior year was that of the Junior-Senior Banquet. All of us enjoyed it very much, even though we did have to work hard in our preparation of that event. We owe much of our success as a class to the fine leadership of our class officers and especially to him who has served as our class president for duration of our class lifed Carl Clarke. We appreciate the fine leadership he has rendered. Now that we are seniors and look back over the years that are past, we realize that this is our best year yet, and we are pleased that we have, in a small way, completed our purpose in training and preparing: ourse Yes for a greater service. However, we real- ize that our training and study and life of service for Christ. still lies before us for we have barely scratched the surface in our experiences of preparation. As we leave ACC, our Visions have increased and our eyes are lifted to see the fields that are white unto the harvest. We go forth as servants of Christ to reap the fields that are ready for the harvest.

THE SE N10 RS SENIOR CLASS OFFH'ERS From Left to Right: Jimmy t'lick. Historian: Hill Banks. 'lireasurer; ANNA MAE VROWDER Irene Dyer. Secretary; Huh DeParler. Vice President: Carl Harke. Sponsor President. CLASS HISTORY In the fall of the year 1948, a group of 16 young men and women, representing seven different states, enrolled at Atlanta Christian College to begin their training as preachers, Church Secretaries, Youth leaders, and Missionaries. We came to prepare ourselves for the Lord's Service in whatever field He would have us labor. As we studied and worked, we looked 'l'orward to the time that we might serve in larger fields for the Master. But, before there can be a harvest, there must be a time for planting the seed, and we as stu- dents 01' ACC, came to learn and equip ourselves for this task. During our freshman year, we had many happy times as we became acquainted with one another and as we tried to adjust ourselves. to college life. The fellowship that was enjoyed, and the friends that were made, will never be forgotten. Our class was organized and we buckled down to the tasks that were before us. Our class colors were Blue and White: its motto, ttIf God be for us, who can be against us? Mrs. Orvel Crowder was chosen as its sponsor. As our sophomore year rolled around, tour of our number dropped from our ranks. These four were replaced by four others: Betty Yarbroue'h, Betty Whittington, Jim Block and Bill Banks. who became a part of our class and added much to our success. We now realized how much we did not know and our year was filled with earnest study that we might be better prepared as we went out on the various fields of labor. It was during: this year that Denver Sizemore came to teach at ACC. As a friend and teacher, he has meant much to each member of our class. At the beginning of our junior year. Dexter Bearers joined our ranks. Although we were now only 1:; in number. much was accomplished duringy this year. We began to see
